OBAMAis coming to the Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville on Friday 12/4. Time and location to be announced. We are looking into parking facilities.

Senator Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) will join Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in a town hall meeting on health insurance reform on Sunday, August 2 in Philadelphia. The town hall will highlight the problems with the current health care system and discuss how health insurance reform will improve the quality of care for all Americans.
Sebelius and Specter will make brief remarks on health insurance reform and devote the remainder of the town hall to taking questions from the audience.

Hello to all
As you are aware, Philadelphia Tea Party Patriots (PTPP) have chartered a 47-seat tour bus to transport committed patriots who are an active part of the Joint Action (grassroots) Group.
Note: We may speak to one or more legislative staffer or maybe the other six legislative staffers
Following completion of the PTPP primary agenda... the in-force grassroots face-to-face visit to DC offices of select Pennsylvania (PA) bluedog Congressional Committee members first, than going forward, a visit with other bluedog PA U.S. representatives; our visit may include the DC office of Iowa Senator Grassley, rank minority member of the Finance Committee ... the PTPP will join with the 912 Delaware Patriots in their HealthCare Reform Bill demonstration/protest/rally being held at Russell Park, Washington DC on Monday, July 27, 2009 (mid afternoon time frame.)
Our purpose for this Joint Action Group Washington DC bus trip is a four fold agenda:
1) now is the time to stand and be counted, 2) sheet information and protocol briefing, 3) create a positive opportunity to influence select bluedog dem U.S. Representatives with regard to the healthcare reform house bill yet to come out of committee, 4) a Joint Action Group (Philadelphia Tea Party Patriots along with various other patriotic groups) and 912 Delaware Patriots demonstration/protest at Russell Park. (mid afternoon)
Our plan is to visit FreedomWorks staff building located 601 PennsylvaniaAve NW. At this time we will pick up some prepared packets and go over a typical hill visit briefing as presented by FreedomWorks staff. We will be prepared then to visit our elected officials as PA residents, constituents and as concerned U.S. citizens
Transportation Itinerary - Philadelphia Tea Party Patriots have chartered a 47-seat tour bus with on-board restroom; the two pick-up points are King of Prussia (K of P) and center city Philadelphia(16 and JFK Blvd.) –
Pick-Up Stops for Washington DC
- First Pick-Up Point: King of Prussia (K of P) north end parking lot (off Rt 202). Bus boarding starts5:15 AMdepart K of P on at 5:30 AM for Center city Philadelphia. and the bus will
- Last Pick-Up Point: 16 and JFK Blvd. (SEPTA Suburban Station building). Bus boarding starts6:30 AM and the bus will depart Philadelphia on 6:45 AM for Washington DC
Round Trip Cost: $30.00 round trip per person paid at time of boarding
Lunch Break: Russell Park -Brown Bagging is suggested (bring your food and drink with you)
Pick-Up Stop for Washington, DC Departure (return home)
- Pick-Up Point: Russell Park;bus boarding 4:45 PM and the bus will depart Russell Park (Washington DC) 5:00 PM for return home; 16 and JFK Blvd. (Philadelphia) SEPTA Suburban Station building) at 7:30 PM and King of Prussia, PA at 8:30 PM.
NOTE: We will have a 15 minute Rest Stop (leg stretch/coffee break) at a halfway point of our bus trip.

Tea Party Patriots is Fighting Government Take Over of Our Health Care
Join your fellow Tea Party Patriots as we begin the next phase in our action plan to fight Government Take over of our Health Care.
We are making calls to melt Congress' Phone Lines this week, planning Tea Party Patriots Health Care Freedom Town Halls, and walking our neighborhoods to engage our neighbors in this fight.
Currently, the bill has passed out of both the Ways and Means and the Labor and Education Committees in the House of Representatives. It still must pass the Energy and Commerce Committee out of the House of Representatives.
In the Senate, there are 2 bills. 1 bill has already passed out of Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee. The other bill has yet to be introduced. 48 hours after it is introduced, the Senate Finance Committee will begin marking up the bill. After the bill passes out of the Senate Finance Committee, it must be reconciled with the bill that was approved in the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee by the Rules Committee before it goes to the Senate Floor fordebate.
We need you to help us prevent politicans from taking over our health care. It is imperative that you make phone calls and melt the phone lines this week and next week. Time is of the essence and the time to act is now. Let's work together to affect meaningful change in America and prevent the government from taking over another aspect of our lives.

Thursday, July 23, 2009 - Call Members of the Senate Finance Committee. Record your answers and the number of calls you made. How quickly can we reach 10,000 calls made? Since President Obama had his Press conference last night, it is really important to follow up with today by again melting the phone lines. We expect the President to get a bump in the polls from his press conference so we need to counter that bump as much as we possibly can. To keep the calls going all day, if you live in the Eastern Time Zone, plan to make calls from 9 am - 11 am edt. If you are in the Central Time Zone, plan to make calls from 11 am - 2 pm edt. If you are in the Mountain and Western Time Zones, plan to make calls from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm edt.

Walk Your Neighborhood and ask your neighbors to sign the Free Our Health Care Now Petition. Grassroots activism is truly the most effective way to influence elections. The liberal tax and spend organizations know this and are canvassing neighborhoods to sway people to act on this legislation. We are asking Tea Party Patriots to do the same but to ask people to help defeat it.
