This is a request and a heads-up to the DC office of Congressman Tim Holden that our Pennsylvania citizen group is asking to meet with one of your healthcare legislative staff to both encourage Representative Tim Holden and to have our views made clear regarding the health care reform bill soon to come up for vote in the house..
For your information, as the Pennsylvania State Coordinator for Tea Party Patriots, I am the primary organizer for our visit to the DC office of Congressman Tim Holden on July 27, 2009 between the hours of 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

IMPORTANT - July 17 Simultaneous Health Care Freedom Tea Parties
from Coast to Coast
Join your fellow Tea Party Patriots on July 17th at the local home office of each Congressman and Senator to make it absolutely clear we oppose government run health care. These will occur simultaneously across the country from Noon to 1:00 PM Eastern, 9:00 to 10:00 AM Pacific. From Florida to Washington, from Maine to California, from Alaska to Hawaii and everywhere in between you and thousands of other Tea Party Patriots will assemble together outside the offices of those who are elected to represent us, and make our voices heard once again. We need you and anyone else you can bring in order to achieve our goal of having massive numbers to make our point outside every single district office in the country.
Take 1 hour off of work on July 17th to show up and speak out.

The Philadelphia Tea Party Patriots Organizers want to express our sincere thanks for your attendance at the PhiladelphiaTea Party Patriots Independence Day Event held at LOVE Park July 4, 2009. The nationwide tea party event was a huge success, as measured by the number of like-minded Americans who attended this grassroots movement in America; to turn our country back to the values and principles our Founding Fathers laid out for us in the U. S. Constitution and to become informed on the national issues that will gravely impact our county’s economy and the finances of every taxpayer. Those immediate issues of 1) the Cap and Trade bill: which in reality is a disguise energy tax bill 2) Health Care Reform: of which the Obama Administration and a Democrat-controlled congress want a government-run and government-controlled public health care plan, with insurance options, mandates for doctors and control of the patient’s healthcare dollar.
Now it is up to you, my fellow patriots, to keep this movement alive. Become informed on these national issues and meet with people in your community, your family or co-workers to share ideas and thoughts about what we can do to turn the tide from the passage by the U.S. Senate of the Cap and Trade Energy Tax bill and to prevent the passage of a Government-run health care public plan.
Write your Congressmen and leaders to express how you feel. Go on to Tea Party Patriots.org to join with us and share your thoughts with everyone who attended the Tea Party. Also, if we want to make sure we are heard, we must contact those who are in elected office. Let them know your opinions and concerns about how they are doing their job representing YOU!
